It seems to me that this should be simple to do, but I can't seem to figure
it out, so I am asking for some help.

I have a WSS 2.0 hosted site that has a sub-site to keep track of community
events. I have added a field named "Category" to the Events list and I
would like to group the "Current Events" by this field or create a new view
that groups by this field and shows just current events. The problem is
that I can't seem to set any "group by" field for the "Current Events" view
and I can create a new view that groups by category, but it shows all
events. If I try to filter it to set Begin >= [Today], then recurring
events that had previously been entered don't show up because the Begin date
is when the recurring series started.
