Graphics and Pictures

  Asked By: Candice    Date: Apr 26    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 764

I have found I am able to generate a htm document via word then
simply copy and paste the html code direct into a webpart and thus
gain a quick development environment for hyperlink development.

One problem I have run into is the graphics do not upload with the
webpart. If I embed the graphic as a background in word it works
fine but not if I simply use an embedded GIF in the document.

Has anyone run into this and give me any advice on using graphics in
sharepoint. My ultimate aim is to have a simple phone icon graphic
for our sharepoint site but at the moment I'm stumped.

Place the graphic  in some folder and "Web Share" it,
and then give  path like (img
src="http://<servername>/<foldername>/<imagename> )

Another way to do it would be save it as a Web Archive (.mht).
