Giving SharePoint Moss 2007 Internet Access

Asked By: Ami    Date: Mar 18    Category: MOSS    Views: 1139

I have an urgent problem. I have a SharePoint Moss 2007 INTRANET site
collection we use internally in our company. I want to have our IT
dept connect one of the site collections to the Internet so one of our
vendors can access this particular site.

What is the fastest and most secure way to do this in MOSS 2007?

(a couple of years ago I had my V2.0 site set up to be accessed from
the Internet, and it was easy to do, and we still had kerbos security
working. We did not use any other equipment, like a proxy server. We
just did a 1 to 1 NAT to a specific inside address that called up a
specific SharePoint site).

The fastest and most secure way to do this is using ADAM (Active
Directory Application Mode)and the External Collaboration Toolkit for
SharePoint. For more information and a free download, please visit
