How to give Alternate URL for current site

How to give alternate url for current site (like http://sharepoint:99/ is my current site i would like to change this url to http://moss/), how to do this .....

go to CA on the Operations page, in the Global Configuration section, click Alternate access mappings. and change  the url  u wish to change. Also go to IIS on the ip address section click on advanced and change the host header value to the same url that u hav given in the previous step(only the header value not http://....)
