GetWebContext(this.Context) from Forms/_layouts

Asked By: Demarco    Date: Oct 04    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1706

There is no Web named "/Document

So I created a custom asp web app and have it my layouts folder. Made
some jscript and placed it in my context menu that navigates to
_layouts/'web app name' with some query strings. Nothing special. So
when the user clicks on the menu item it decides to send me to
Forms/_layouts (which suprisingly does exsist) but getWebContext seems
not to like it. I'm guessing its due to the SP layout with the common
forms folder and all. Any idea how to create a dynamic SPWeb from here?

Using ctx.HttpRoot gave me the correct url instead of the relative
one I was giving it.
