How to get 2003 Event Handler to work in MOSS

Asked By: Bryon    Date: Aug 12    Category: MOSS    Views: 1008

We have a SPPS 2003 that has serveral InfoPath 2003 form libraries that have
EventHandlers that update variuos lists; room scheduling, VTC scheduling,
Work Requests, etc.

We did a Database Migratrion to MOSS 2007 and checked Backward
compatibility for Event Handlers. If I fill out one of the InfoPath Forms,
the event fires and the appropriate email gets sent, but the list does not
get updated.

Todd Bleeker's "Developer's Guide to WSS 3.0" discusses email receivers and
list receivers but I can't find anything on Document or Forms Libraries?

Everything in SharePoint is a list (with very few exceptions). Thus,
document libraries  are lists. You likely found the correct resource.
