Forms for a Workflow

Asked By: Eugene    Date: Nov 06    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1639

To all the Sharepoint Team Users -

First off, I am really glad I signed up for this newsgroup. Its been
very informative, very relaxed, and sometimes very funny. So thank
you all for that.

Ok, this may be a repeat question but my searches of the archive have
proved fruitless. I want to create a simple workflow for our HR
department that can pull/push information from our SQL database. I
would like for HR to be able to use PDF forms that a employee can
enter their data into and then submit to HR for review. Then HR can
input more data nad then upload it to the SQL database.

There isn't anything OOTB to do this - you'll need a workflow  tool. There are
several 3rd parties that do this (e.g. Captaris, K2.Net, etc) or you can use
BizTalk.
