Format to setup Link to access Outlook mailbox

I am trying to find out if anyone has ever setup a Link in SharePoint for an
Outlook mailbox. I know how to setup a Link for a network file share in this
format file://networkpath . Can anyone share what the Link format would be for
an Outlook mailbox?

In the past I have used Outlook:Inbox and the like, but apparently this
is no longer supported in Outlook 2007:

This would be for SPS 2003. What would the format be if it is not for your
local inbox but for a group shared mailbox?

The SharePoint version shouldn't matter; this is all about client-side
limitations. I've never linked to a group shared mailbox before, but you
might try the following articles for help:

I think you have to have OWA installed if I am not mistaken.

If you have OWA installed any of the set of Outlook Web Access web parts that
are part of the default installation should work.
