Fixed border in empty cells in DVWP?

I've made a Data View Web Part (DVWP) in front page, this is the old version from 2003, WSS, not MOSS.

I want a fixed border around every cell in the table, but when I open the web site, there is no border around the empty cells in the table.

How can I make the border fixed for the whole table?
