Where can I find the syntax for a SharePoint Wiki page

Asked By: Bennie    Date: Apr 22    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 7726

I am new to Wiki's and am specifically looking to be able to have a link
jump to a specific topic heading in a different page. For instance, if I
have a wiki page of links to terms such as A B C ... Z and have another
page of terms beginning with each of the letters, if I want to jump to
the q's, how do I get there directly instead of scrolling through the
whole page.

I don't believe the out of the box wikis  support that. The Community
Kit for SharePoint has Enhanced wiki  features that may do this. I know
they add Table of Content support. You can find  out more information
here, http://www.codeplex.com/CKS

Anyone with experience installing the Community Kit for SharePoint...

I have attempted to install the Enhanced Wiki Edition on my test server
and the application extracts and attemps to install, but every line
during the installation gives the following message:

Failed to find  the XML file at location

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

When you install the wiki  part it tries to remove any previous versions.
If you didn't have a previous version installed that part will fail.
Are you sure EVERY line is failing or just the lines trying to remove
the previous versions are failing?

It was everyline. I moved the code to the Web Server Extensions folder
and it appeared to install ok.
