I believe the information is in the Profile, not the document. If it's
a webpart-generated announcement, I'm not sure where it puts the
content... but that's why I mostly just copy .mht or .doc files in
there, change the profile to "Announcement" and change the profile to
fit what I want for title, abstract, etc.
You might want to look at the code (Portal/Announcement_Files I believe)
to see where it's getting or saving the information to.
