Failed to Send Subscription Email

I have Eight Workspaces, on two I am receiving a message in the event
viewer.
Event Type: Warning
Event Source: SharePoint Portal Server
Event Category: None
Event ID: 12561
Description:
Failed to send subscription email notifications from IT workspace.

On the six I get mail with no trouble.
