explorer view

I'm newbie to sharepoint,

I try WSS and When I click "Explorer View" on document library,

It runs into

\\servername\site\Document%20Library\1
<file:///\\servername\site\Document%20Library\1>

And it was a blank page

Why? Is there something I have missed to install..?
