Execute *.cmd file automatically in the VS Setup

  Asked By: Umesh    Date: Dec 18    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 9690

I am working on Visual Studio Setup Project. Just for the brief overview, I've abc.wsp (contains all the Custom definitions, templates, assemblies etc of SharePoint) and Import.cmd (contains relevant stsadm syntax). Then, I've created a Setup Project in Visual Studi 2005. I added both the files in the Application Project. Now, I want to execute the Import.cmd file automatically when Installation completes. For this, I am using PostBuildEvent.

The problem is, i've tried so many commands over there but i am afraid all of them are not working.
Those commands are
1) set CONFIGURATION=$(Configuration) && ($ProjectDir)\Import.cmd
2) ($ProjectDir)\Import.cmd
3) Call ($ProjectDir)\Import.cmd

As, I writing this Event in the Setup Project so i am not sure whether there is a problem in my code or not.

Can anyone tell me where i am wrong please ? Also, If you know any other way then let me know as well
