Evaluation copy problem- reg

I had a peculiar problem ... i.e I have installed a eval copy of sps2001 and
iam in evaluating the product...
Today it has gone to task while starting the servicess.. And saying
evaluation period has been expired...
How to take backup ?? And is there any way for getting services started???

Set the computer clock back a fews days before the expiration date. Then go to
this site www.microsoft.com/.../eval2full.asp
and follow the steps to upgrade to the full release.

But I want to be in evaluation stage for some more days...

You have obviously already gone through the 120 day eval period so if
you want to stay in evaluation mode you need to install a new Portal
server to continue Evaluation. Or purchase the full product.

There is no way to extend the evaluation period.
