We upgraded this past weekend to SP2 for SPS and WSS, along with applying SSL to our portals. We have run up against an error and have no idea what is causing it – hopefully someone here can point us in the right direction.
When trying to manage sites through Central Admin (sites that both existed before the upgrade, and sites that have been created since ) we get the following error:
“The server instance specified was not found. Please specify the server's address and port.”
Anyone have the same error or care to venture a guess as to why it cannot find the site? We routinely did this before the upgrade (change site owners, etc…) and have never had a problem.
