I have a sharepoint portal running. All sudden it started givingerror on the web portal when I try to add a document or create a subfolder.error -An error occurred while processing your request. Please contact yoursystem administrator for this server.Also, if I try to add document or create a sub folder via widowsexplorer utility, it works fine.
1.Check the permissions on the portal server and document library.2.What were the changes done? Was the XSL modified?
We have not done any changes as such to the portal.I checked the permissions, the user has author accessis there any error log in sharepoint ?
I am trying t add one event in the list of the OnEvent method do U know,whether it is feasible or not?
Events are only available for Document Libraries, not Lists.
Is that possible for Document Libraries to add an Event?

I did check the permission , I have coordinator access.also, we havent done any chages as susch on the portal, no xsl change.dont know whats gone wrong, please help.
