Is this asp  or ASP.Net, what version of SharePoint (STS, WSS, SPS 2001 or SPS
2003), and where is the page  located (e.g. same server, remote server)?

I figured it out and solved it was DNS issue. It is SPS 2003 and the page  is
.asp and in the same server.

I could fix this as it was DNS resolution problem.I was using SPS 2003 and the
page was located in the same server.
