am trying to move some pages from the parent site (for some navigation
cleanup) . I created a subsite (default publishing template was
selected which i could not remove)
Now Iam trying to move/copy the pages from the parent site to the sub
site and and Iam getting a move error

This is the error iam getting
"You may re-try the operation or you may need to clean up the half
created data first ......"

when I click on the view logs this is what is see

<error><message>Value does not fall within the expected range.</message>

I checked to make sure that all the images are copied to the subsite
and also the subsite supports the same content types as the parent site.
But this is of no use

Also one more thing I tried was to drag and drop the pages through
sharepoint designer which actually worked but the pages copied were
going through an approval process to get published, and eventually i
approved them as Iam an admin too
But the pages are supposed to comeup in the content query webpart in a
page in the parent site and they don;t come up

So at this point Iam not sure which problem iam supposed to be tackling
Eventually the content query webpart in the main page in the parent
site should display the pages from the sub site
