Error on List

Asked By: Keely    Date: Aug 06    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 574

I have a user who is getting en error whenever he tries to view a custom
list as a datasheet. The error says: "The list cannot be displayed in
Datasheet view for one or more of the following reasons: A daatsheet
component compatible with Windows SharePoint Services is not installed, your
browser does not support ActiveX contraols, or support for ActiveX controls
is disabled."

User has confirmed everything is a-okay with his ActiveX settings. He is
using Office 2007, IE 7, and has not encountered this issue until yesterday.
I can access his lists and view as a datasheet just fine.

Any ideas?

I have seen this when Access is either not installed  or has somehow been
corrupted. You may need to run Office repair.
