Error in feature deployment

We have deployed the printlist feature from Codeplex to our test
environment without any errors. But when we deploy it to production it
fails on one of the servers with the error "Some of the files failed to
copy during deployment" and for one of the servers it has the message:
Object reference not set to an instant of an object.

We cannot uninstall it and it does not appear on the site collection
features screen.

Anybody seen this error and know what to do?

Errors during feature deployment are usually logged. (Look in the
12\LOGS folder.)

Did you try to deactivate/uninstall via STSADM.EXE?
