Error deploying dev site

I am using the 64 bit version of MOSS.
I have created a separate SharedService and mysite collections. I am
trying to deploy the main dev site to use for testing.
when i try to deploy the site i get the following error

The path specified cannot be used at this time. (Exception from
HRESULT:0x80070094)
No specific error message.
Then account used to deploy the site has full access to the SQL db and
admin permission to the box.

Anyone have any ideas. Let me know if you need more info
