When I click edit in Datasheet, I then try typing in a new item in a
row but the row immediately turns to read-only and throws a can't save
the item error. It won't go through if I try and retry my changes.

Also, every few times I load the datasheet view I get sent to a page
with this message:

"The list cannot be displayed in Datasheet view for one or more of the
following reasons: A datasheet component compatible with Windows
SharePoint Services is not installed, your browser does not support
ActiveX controls, or support for ActiveX controls is disabled."

I do have Office 2003 Pro and have all my ActiveX enabled.

Both issues are happening for every user. It is not isolated.

I would very much appreciate any help.
