Error Checking in Documents after system restore

After successfully recovering my sharepoint server using the msdmback command, I
am having problems checking in documents.

Through the client 'back end', after selecting a file and checking it in, the
following error.

The Tahoe server encountered the following error loading the document:

CreateObject
(PKMPI.Subutils)

Details:
Error Number: 8007045A

I have tried searching the MS site for more info on the error number, but it has
been no help. Any help from you guys would be grately appreciated.
