Enable Version Control by Default on Templates

Asked By: Srikant Hebbar         Date: Jul 22, 2006      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 411

I want to set up all document libraries to be version controlled by
default. So, that means changes to site templates and also new.aspx. I
found this tip for the new.aspx and it works GREAT (link below), but I
can't seem to locate the files for the default templates such as a)Team
Site b) Blank Site c) Document Workspace etc.

Where are these files located?

See if this helps: http://heathersolomon.com/blog/articles/159.aspx

You need to look at the STS and MPS site  definitions. Each site template does not have a corresponding site definition.
