Asked By: Rachel    Date: Feb 01    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 6118

This search scope was working and then it just started showing as
empty.
The profile import is successful:

Indexing works and I have the entry: sps3s://mypeoplesite.xxx.com/

Scope Settings as the SSP is:
Title: People
Description: Search for people.
Update status: Ready
Target results page: peopleresults.aspx
Rules
Rule Behavior Item Count (approximate)
contentclass = urn:content-class:SPSPeople Require 0

1. your Mysite provider is SSL?

2. How many profiles show in 'User Profiles and Properties'

3. Where the permissions changed on the My Site Host?

4. You might try moving the sps3s:// content start address to its own
content source. Then, full crawl just that start content source and
view/troubleshoot

1. Yes mysite provider is SSL

2. I have 9610 user profiles

3. Where the permissions changed on the My Site Host?: I did not
change this permissions

4. You might try moving the sps3s:// content start address to its own
content source. Then, full crawl just that start content source and
view/troubleshoot:
I moved the sps3s to its own content sorce and now I have this
warning: "Content for this URL is excluded by the server because a
no-index attribute
I checked: List Advanced Settings: User Information List
and "Allow items from this list to appear in search  results?" is Yes

Here is the solution that worked for me incase anyone else has this
problem.

go to http://mysite**/_layouts/settings.aspx
and set the "Allow this web to appear in search  results?" to true
and check " Always index all ASPX pages on this site "
Then run the crawl again and thsi should work.
