I started thinking of a cool set of web parts that would basically be an
employee directory on steroids -- you store stuff in Active Directory or
maybe just even on the filesystem somewhere and there are thumbnails of
employees on the left and when you click an employee, a more detailed pane
shows on the right with picture, hobbies, resume, and whatever that person
wanted to put up about themselves.

Ideally, everything's stored in A/D and the web part just polls stuff from
it and populates the page. Users could then just have personal dashboards
and there would be a link on the detail page that could link to it.

Just wondering if someone's already done this...
