Does anyone know how to get an MSG file stored in a Doc Lib such that
it maps the common email fields to the fields in MOSS? For example,
the Sender, CC, Receiver, Subject line, whether there are attachments
to the email, etc.?

This would be a huge help for a project that I'm working on since 95%
of the documents are emails.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same question with Calendar items

Time from and until fields  are not accessible to filter, and I would
like to use those from a list.

Out of the box is not going to do it.
You can save a .msg file  from outlook to sharepoint but it wont map
any of the meta data.

We've evaluated about 4 or 5 third party products now.
I think the best ones are Colligo or Nsynergy. (I prefer colligo)
