Email in Approval Workflow

I designed a default and simple workflow for a document library for approval
process.
Whenever a document is uploaded to a library, email is flowing ,
I dont need the email flow, how to stop that email.

I would use SharePoint Designer to make this simple workflow  without
the email  instead of using the MOSS in the box workflow. It is a
piece of cake.

OR, you could go into the Tasks list where the workflow  is putting the
tasks, and turn off the automatic emails.

Go into the task list's advanced settings, and change "Send e-mail when
ownership is assigned or when an item has been changed." from YES to NO.

If users are receiving emails other than those, it means that they set
up their own personal alerts on the library.
