I would like to change the document profile properties like Author
name and email id. I could do that successfully by checking out the
documents and changing the properties and then check in and publish.
As a result of this the version number gets changed.

If I select multiple documents in a folder and then choose 'Edit
Profile' I get an error message saying you do not have sufficient
permissions even though I have administrator rights on the system and
coordinator rights on the folder.

Can somebody help me in this regard.
