Edit Page menu problem in 2007 publishing site

I am trying to create a role of "Content Author" where this role has
the permission to create and edit pages. The create is working fine
but I cant find a specific permission that enables the capability to
edit an existing page.

Problably something MS left out if you are not a site admin or
something goofy.
