DST issue

Asked By: Staci    Date: Dec 07    Category: MOSS    Views: 722

I have MOSS 2007 installed on Server 2003. I have installed MOSS SP1. My
sharepoint is still 1 hour behind on everything. The timezone.xml file has the
correct settings. I have reset the IIS several times and even rebooted the
server a few times but to no avail. Can anyone tell me where to go from here?

Did you install WSS SP1 as well?

Sorry, yes I did install WSS SP1 first and then installed MOSS SP1
afterwards.

Just a thought. Did you run the SharePoint configuration wizard between
the installs? Although both service packs need to be installed you need
to finish both installations on all servers BEFORE re-running the
Configuration wizard.

I thought that I had read something like that so after installing WSS
SP1 when the config wizard started I clicked "Cancel" and after the
MOSS SP1 install I let the config wizard run. It did complete
successfully.

SP1 overwrites the original DST fix. You need to install the post
SP1 hotfix #941422.

Yes, I do have 941422 installed on the server but still have the issue
with everything being an hour off.
