Drag & Drop Access To Document Libraries Within Outlook

Asked By: Bhagavati    Date: Apr 02    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 10052

Does anyone know of any Outlook Addins or other mechanisms of
transfering Outlook messages and attachments quickly and easily (i.e.
drag and drop) in to WSS document libraries?
Ideally some sort of site or document library hierachry would be
directly available in Outlook.
Do you have any hints on how I could code this, if there's nothing
already available?

You can Save As directly to a document  library form the outlook  message
itself - just use http://<server>/<sitename>/<doclib> as the location
save in. From there you can navigate the site  as well...

Thanks, but it's difficult to get users to do that, and/or remember the
paths to the different document  libraries that may exist. I'm amazed
that I haven't found an app to provided a windows explorer style view
of a sharepoint structure and the document libraries  that are available
within it.

Does anybody know of such a application or source code  that may assist
me in achieving it (e.g. how to obtain the Sharepoint structure
