Download SPS or WTS site to CD/DVD

Does anyone know of an application that will let you download an SPS
or WTS site to a CD/DVD then use the CD/DVD like you would online?
I know I used a package several years ago that would take a website
and do the same thing - I can't remember the name of it however.

sharepoint is database driven. its not static html.

may i ask why you want to do that?

This isn't possible. All you can do is backup a site to CD/DVD and then
restore it on another SharePoint environment. You can however mimic a
SharePoint site's user interface and create a static HTML site so it
would appear that it is SharePoint running off a CD/DVD. Of course it
would only be HTML and not have any of the regular functionality.
