double log in page (FBA) ?

Asked By: Kami    Date: Jul 06    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1194

Extranet setting.

I have one application with Form based authentication "abcd.com" and
IIS setting has 2 hostheader. "abc.com" and "www.abcd.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.abcd.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.abcd.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.abcd.com".

Also I extended application with Window authentication.

If I go to "abcd.com", it works fine.
But I go to "www.abcd.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.abcd.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.abcd.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.abcd.com",after loggin in, it redirect to "abcd.com"
and shows login page again.

I can't use alternative access mapping, because custom solution doesn't
work in that mapping address( Idon't know why).

DNS server is set up with both address (www.abcd.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.abcd.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.abcd.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">www.abcd.com and abcd.com) in
same IP.

If you are going to use two host headers with this, you will either need
to add the second host header as an AAM or you need to extend the Web
Application again and put the second host header on that extended  web
app (remove it from the first). Then setup FBA in the Web.config for
that web app also.
