Did you run the VBS script  before importing the webpart. The VBS script
created several directories the webparts needs to function.

Of corse, but got message:
"You do not have permission to view this directory
or page using the credentials you supplied."

I am administrator of server and coordinator of SPPS.

I find a way to install  my doc_status web part.
Just edit script  to set up user name and password
right insight script doc_status_install.vbs
m_xh.Open "MKCOL", workspaceURL & "/System/CheckedOutBy", False,
"administrator", "your_password" ' False = block until done.

I would like to programmaticaly make an asp page appear when a check-in action
is done. I think the mechanism to use is a web form... Is it true ?
And if it is true, what type of web form registration must I have ? I use Web
forms in the Webstore of Exchange2k, but never in SharePoint...

I have this web part installed. You need to have administrator rights to the
server and be a coordinator, then run the script  by using the following

doc_status_install.vbs <workspace name>

For example, doc_status_install.vbs wksp, where the name of the workspace is

Then add the web part to a dashboard.

I have a problem with anyone other than a coordinator using this web part,
so let me know how you get on.
