I have a production sps v2001 with 15 workspaces. Is there anyway to copy a
document profile to another workspace?

There is no "drag and drop" for this. If the profile  is small it is
just as easy to create a new document  profile. If that is not fesible,
then I would look at the scripting this. If you look at the
Import/Export tools, you can find the code that will copy  the profile to
the manifest file. You can "borrow" this code and copy the profile and
then import the profile.

Thier aplication automates document  check in
and mangagement. It give you a lot more flexibility and should take
care of this problem.

It also enhances sharepoints built in retrival function by replacing
it with an automatic taxonomy engine that makes searching a lot
easier.
