Document Library Security

What is the best way to secure a DL so that only certain user have
rights to view it AND only that DL?

Meaning...I want someone to go to the site and only be able to view
my "Public" DL but, not view my "Super-Secret Documents" DL.

I know this is basic site admin stuff but, security groups always
confuse me!

In a WSS site  doc lib just go to Modify Settings and Columns > Change
Permissions for this library...
