Document Library Migration SPS2001 to SPS2003

Asked By: Amalraj David         Date: Feb 18, 2010      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 229

In an environment where there will not be an in-place upgrade (i.e.
the migration is two-server scenario) does anyone know of a way to
migrate the document library from 2001 to the SQL-based SPS2003
library without losing version data, metadata, etc.? It appears the
upgrade.exe including with SPS2003 does not actually move document
content.

The recently released Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Document
Library Migration Tools do exactly this.

I will be discussing them this Tuesday (Feb. 24) during the MSD2D.com
webcast. Checkout www.parallelspace.net/sharepoint/msd2d-webcat.htm.
