Document library link showing in table of contents

Asked By: Juana Daugherty         Date: Jul 13, 2009      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 964

I made a table of contents web part and there is a link titled
"documents" that takes you to document libraries. I cant seem to find
that link in the site content and structure to remove it. Does anyone
know how I can get rid of the link?

Someone please correct me if I am mistaken...
If you remove  it from the navigation of the site  manually (site actions>site
settings>navigation) then it wont show up anymore.
Basically, any content  that would show up on the quick launch bar on the left
hand side of the page, will also show up in the table  of contents  web part..
So changes would also have to be made  in the "title and description" option of a
library or list settings page as well.

You are correct! I just made  that change before I read your post and
it worked.
