Document Access

Asked By: Vasudev Chiplunkar         Date: Apr 29, 2010      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 168

A question was brought up recently and I was not able to answer it. We have a
site that has 2 document libraries. Each document library has different security
settings. For example, document library A can only be access by customer A and
document library B can only be access by customer B. How can a document in
document library A be made accessible to customer B without creating another
version of the document?

Short answer  is you can't, if they don't have access  then they don't have access
and security is set at the document  library level only in WSS.
