Asked By: Bhavani    Date: Jun 15    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 3814

If we have one document library on parent site; and we wish to display the same
documents in child site.
What is the best way to do that?

--I dont want to provide a link to main library
--I dont wish to use Page Viewer Web part as it shows whole page with left
navigation items too

Couple of options. If you have MOSS you can use the content query web  part to
display the items  in the library. You could also use SharePoint Designer to
create a data connection to the parent  site and use a list view web part

Having WSS 3.0, I would have used the data connection/list view web  part
combination as well.
