Display Posted By image in a Blog

I would like to create a view for a SharePoint Blog Posts list that would
display the image associated with the "poster"; similar to the default Flat view
found in Discussions. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Here's how:

On your blog  site, click "view all site content". Click the "Posts"
list. Go to the list's settings page. Click the "Created By" column in
the columns section. Change it to "Name with picture".
