Display parent calendar in subsite, display days using filter

I would like to place a master calendar on the parent site and display it on
five subsites, using a filter to display revelant content. Can I do this? I
was looking at the content querry web part which displays links to the calendar
but I want a Calendar display or the calendar itself.

One way would be to use the site  aggregator web  part.

Interesting --- I entered the url for the parent  calendar and it
displayed it. This is a bit like the Page Viewer Web Part.

It does get me closer to what I'm trying to do.
