Lets say I have a choice column called Status with values "Open", "Closed" in a discussion board. Requirement is when a user closes a thread, all the threads belongs to the same thread id should automatically get closed.

Imagine you are in a threaded view of the discussion and you edit the top thread and set the status value to "Closed" so all the replies should automatically be closed.

Please advice how this is possible, either using a data view within EditForm.aspx page or writing a custom code.
