Is anyone utilizing Digital signatures in documents located inside MOSS? And if
so are these being used in Adobe Acrobat files as well as MS documents?

I am using digital signatures on some InfoPath forms. Not using in Adobe
files though.

The problem with adding digital signatures to Adobe files is saving them
directly into a doc library. You'll probably have to save the .pdf to your
system, then upload it to your doc library. Can be done- but not as user
friendly as a MS Word or InfoPath document.

We've been successful with editing Adobe Acrobat files directly in libraries
provided the user has a full version of Acrobat 9 Pro. We activated the Edit in
Adobe Acrobat in SharePoint feature a while back and the pull menu now offers
the Edit in Adobe option. It does require the user to Checkout the file, then
edit and save and check it back in.
