Digital Dashboard vs. Sql Digital Dashboard

Asked By: Haresh Kalal         Date: Mar 15, 2010      Category: Sharepoint      Views: 261

Is there a difference? I have a remote site that connects via a
128K connection. Rather then have each user download the dashboard from my
SPS site I would like to have the local IT people install it locally before
they connect. However, I can't find a "Digital Dashboard" download on MS's
site on a SQL digital Dashboard.

On a side note, if they are different, can someone point me in
the direction of the ".exe" on my SPS site so I can send the executable to
the remote site.

I guess you just need a SPS client - take a look at your SPS install
dir, for example
"c:\Program Files\SharePoint Portal Server\ClientDrop\Languages"

This may have already been answered but I am a bit behind on my email. The last
DDRK that was supported for SQL was 2.2. The 3.0 DDRK is only supported for SPS.
You can still make web parts for 2.2 but since it is not the latest version,
that is why you won't find  it on the MS web site.
