Difference between Sharepiont "Server" 2007 and Sharepoint "Service" 3.0

I am new in Sharepoint Development. and I have a simple question.

What is the difference between (Sharepiont "Server" 2007) and (Sharepoint
"Service" 3.0) ??

WSS 3.0 is the core functionality, and is all included in MOSS 2007. You

One is a free install... WSS 3.0, it comes on Server 2003 R2 and
Server 2008 or via download.

Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 aka MOSS is the product you need to
purchase... It has all the add ons WSS doesn't.
