Designing and Displaying KPIs

How can I use an Excel sheet to display KPIs? I want to display KPI titles and their associated values from a worksheet. Is this possible or do you have to create KPIs line-by-line in SP 2007?

Also, how do you add more columns to a KPI display?

They don't really work the way you have in mind. You need to manually create  each KPI by picking the URL of the spreadsheet, and picking the cells that are applicable for each individual KPI.
