Design this Page error message

Asked By: Grace    Date: Sep 25    Category: Sharepoint    Views: 1078

In the last 2 weeks, we have been getting error messages when we click
on "design this page" in SPS and WSS. The error message shuts down IE.
In the box, it states that IE has encountered a problem and needs to
close. When I click on Debug the window closes and so does all IE
sessions. Occasionally, I get this error too -- Error message
0x30cb0c06 referenced memory 0x00000000. memory could not be written.
The problem appears to be happening more since we began using a
customized CSS file. I do not know if that is the problem or not.

Has anyone else seen this problem? I searched some on Microsoft
Developer network and did not find any matches.

Go to Add/remove Programs (Start > Settings> Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs) Up the top there should be a box that you have to put a tick into called "Show updates", tick that and it should give you all the updates that you have installed there. Highlight KB918899 and select remove.
